Specific Duties: 

Assist Project Managers in the creation, implementation and maintenance of project schedules for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning Project phases.

Manage the Master Project Schedule which incorporates all projects and manpower resources.

Assist Operations Manager with overall company planning and strategy through analytical scheduling and reports.

Facilitate schedule coordination between departments for Procurement, Engineering, Fabrication/delivery and Field activities and resources.

Assist project managers in creation of site logistics and equipment plan for submission to customers. 

Key Skills:

 Ability to analyze and comprehend customer’s (general contractor’s) schedules to identify key predecessor activities to our work, proper construction sequencing and schedule logic problems.

Ability to read and understand Architectural drawings for large project (energy, oil&Gas, infrastructures).

Familiar with construction equipment (forklifts, swing stages, high reach lifts, climbing platforms, etc). 

Requirements: 

Associates Degree in CAD Project Management or three to five years construction experience.

Proficient in scheduling software such as, Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Outlook software.

Knowledgeable with ADOBE Acrobat.

Project Planner - Scheduler

Project Control Manager - Cost Controller

Key Elements:

Manage Cost / Change Control, including change order review, negotiation, and recommendations, delay analysis

Budget Management and Tracking

Updating owner cost tracking software

Providing review reports

Setting and attending change control and cost meetings as required.

Monitoring field progress, Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis

Document control

Ensure QA/QC is being followed

Invoice / Payment Application processing, tracking and reporting

Tracking of all key project documents, including change orders, invoices and payments, lien releases, etc

Initiate close out process prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance

Establish close out documentation requirements. Collect and track receipt of all close out documents until completion, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.

Compiling as built cost estimate records for benchmarking purposes

Skills/Qualifications:

Advanced skills with spreadhseets, report writing and presentations;

Strong and professional communication skills;

Self Motivated and proactive;

Experience with cost loaded schedules;

Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player;

P6 scheduling knowledge would be advantageous.
